Patterns of Pedagogical Repetition in Children’s Educational Television
Built a scalable end-to-end Databricks/PySpark pipeline to process multimodal media data, using a coding dictionary to identify 15 instructional strategies and analyze repetition patterns across children’s educational television programs; normalized results by frames per 1,000 words.

Dr. Ganesh Mani
Dr. Ganesh Mani is a professor of practice and adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University. He previously served as Carnegie Mellon’s Distinguished Service Professor of Innovation Practice and as the inaugural Director of Collaborative AI. Dr. Mani co-founded Advanced Investment Technology, an AI- and machine-learning-driven investment firm later acquired by State Street Global Advisors. He also founded The Global Innovation Center, where he works on data- and AI-informed strategy and innovation, and previously served as President of TiE Pittsburgh, supporting entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures.
Jake Malliaros
Jake Malliaros is a quantum researcher and entrepreneur focused on bringing emerging technologies into real-world use. He began in quantum research and machine learning, with experience at the Institute for Quantum Computing and IBM, before moving into deep-tech commercialization. He has advised more than 50 startups through Creative Destruction Lab and later held leadership roles at BlueQubit and Open Quantum Design. More recently, he has built AI systems for enterprise clients while continuing research in quantum system calibration.
